With a simple #hashtag search on Twitter for #moving, we found many responses.  Along with plenty of tips and ads, we found that many people were overwhelmed.

  • Packing #moving is too much work
  • #Moving tomorrow ! It’s going to be an #Exhausting Day !
  • Starting to feel overwhelmed. #wedding #moving #painting
  • Cleaning my life out of my room! #moving

See a common trend here? Yes, #moving seems to be a stressful time to the Twitter world, and we aren’t doubting it is. We know moving is an overwhelming experience for most. The key is to be prepared for it and approach it with an organized attitude. The most stressful of the situation isn’t always the moving itself but the never ending packing that has to be done.

With that being said, looking into professional packing might not be a bad idea…

Professional packing is an added expense, but it often pays for itself in convenience and safety. Your mover has the expertise and materials to protect your possessions. Even if you have the time and energy to pack, consider leaving your delicate or fragile items (china, glassware, silver, clocks, etc.) for the professionals. If you’re a determined do-it-yourselfer, do it right. Ask your  mover about specially designed containers and materials. You can buy them at a minimum cost to assure maximum protection of your belongings.

So although #moving might never be a non-stressful experience, save your energy by having your movers pack up your fragile and delicate items.
